Our agency values whole health and wellness. The Wellness Project is an effort to improve access to unique wellness opportunities throughout the year. The focus of the Wellness Project is health promotion and wellness.
Our intention is to promote recovery and resilience by providing education and access to complimentary practices that enhance a person’s emotional and physical health. Through community grants and fundraising, we have been able to offer mind and body practices such as massage therapy, mindfulness meditation, relaxation techniques, ta’i chi, yoga and Art.
This year we hope to offer more conventional areas such as exercise and nutrition and also provide opportunities to learn about writing and art to enhance creativity and coping skills. Please check out our calendar of Events.
