Momentum is entirely funded through grants, donations, and sponsorships that come in largely through events like this so it’s sad but necessary to announce that Laugh & Lose is going to postpone due to COVID-19. We are very fortunate that The Funny Bone is graciously allowing us to reschedule. Luckily in addition to the ability to reschedule our venue, participants will also stand with us to ensure the Laugh & Lose is a great event, regardless of it’s the new date. We will update this page when we have a new date. Thank you all for your support!

Community Support Advocates Laugh & Lose: Comedy Smackdown is a fundraising event for the Momentum Art Program. Watch & laugh as contestants go head-to-head telling jokes to make their opponent laugh. The contestant that makes their opponent laugh the most moves to the next round until the 2020 Laugh & Lose Champion is the contestant standing and goes home with the custom Championship belt! Jason Parkin, and Jackie Schmillen from KCWI Channel 23 will be your emcee for the evening. Proceeds benefit the Momentum program.
Guest judges will determine the 2020 belt champion and audience applause decides the spirit award winner! Derby gals will skate around our 50/50 raffle; where you buy-in for a chance to win half the pot, and FREE KOOZIE for the first 100 guests to enter!
Seating is first-come, first seated.
Food and beverage are available for purchase.
19 & over for entry and 21+ ID for alcohol purchase.
