If you are a Central Iowa artist impacted by a disability, you are invited to participate in Momentum: Works of Growth and Recovery. This is an annual art competition featuring art by artists with disabilities. A local artist guest juror judges the competition. Artists selected as winners will have their work featured in a one night exhibition.
What you need to know before you apply:
All submissions will be done online, the application is located at the bottom of this page. Before completing the application make sure that you have taken quality photos of you art and saved them to your phone or computer to upload into the application. We have an art show packet you can download/print and share. This will have all the information that you need so submit your art into the show. Additionally, we have links for you to use as resources to understand how to photograph your artwork at home. The Momentum Studio will be open Mondays to provide assistance with photographing your art – CLICK on the photo below to get registered for one of these days!
