Our mission is to create a supportive community for artists who identify as having a disability. We are furthering this mission with the expansion of our Momentum program and our Momentum Studio within Mainframe Studios. Mainframe Studios is a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission to provide permanent affordable workspace to artists of all disciplines.
Our studio space is located on the main floor in studio 109 where artists can drop in for open studio hours, as well as register for workshops. This is a safe space to work with access to free equipment and supplies, teaching, mentorship and community.
Participant Artist Testimonial
For me, the act of creating art calms my mind. It helps me focus on joy and beauty, and not on my pain.
Visit our studio and use our art supplies for free. Get inspired through mentorship and create space within our artist community. Open Studio is on a drop-in basis and does not require pre-registration. Tuesdays 9 am - noon, and Fridays 12 pm -3 pm.*
*Open Studio hours subject to change. If DSM Schools are closed due to weather, open studio will also be closed. Call Shannon with questions.
Space is limited and registration is required for all workshops. New workshops are always being added. To stay up to date on what events are coming up soon, please visit our events page and connect with us on Facebook!
