why we do it

demand for programs and services supporting children with mental, behavioral, and intellectual disabilities has reached a crisis point.

pew research states that young people and those with disabilities are experiencing some of the highest levels of psychological distress.

lengthy waiting times for mental health crisis stabilization services can have devastating impacts on an individual’s recovery time, school and/or work status, and their family’s capacity to cope.

hospitalization, homelessness, jail time or worse are common alternatives with broad social, emotional, and economic costs to the communities.

we believe every person deserves quality care.
